Las Vegas Resort Hotels

Are you overwhelmed by the choices for Las Vegas Resort Hotels? It's hard to choose one because in Vegas the hotels are the attraction. Each one is different with some offering roller coasters, a circus, castles, and even dolphins. When you visit Las Vegas resort hotels you get to see the pyramids of Egypt, Venice or even Times Square. All the themes are there in one glittering place.

Choosing a hotel depends on your budget, the amenities you want and the ambience you are looking for. Most hotels are so large they give you a map when you check-in! These sprawling resort hotels are sometimes hard to navigate but offer every kind of amenity and amusement there is. You won't be bored.

Most travelers visiting Vegas want to stay in one of the humongous theme hotels. Amazingly a lot of these hotels are owned by the same company including: Bellagio, The Mirage, Treasure Island, MGM Grand and New York New York. (Of course this is subject to change at any time). Are you looking for a family friendly hotel or a more grown-up resort? Some hotels discourage guests from bringing children. The Bellagio does not allow children in the resort after 6 pm., unless they are guests there. So don't plan on visiting this hotel after 6pm. with kids if you are staying elsewhere.

Las Vegas Hotel Deals

Room rates in Las Vegas are very tricky but Las Vegas hotel deals can still be found. Room rates vary dramatically from one day to the next and it's harder to find really cheap rooms because Vegas has revitalized itself as a "luxury resort" style destination. You've got the Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, Four Seasons and Venetian. These are luxury accommodations and they have raised the bar for room rates in Vegas. But you should still never have to pay rack rate for a hotel during your stay. There are deals to be found you just have to search for them.

To get the best Las Vegas hotel deals you need to be flexible with your dates. You can also get better room rates by traveling with a group. Some hotels allow children to stay for free in their parent's room but charge additional adults up to $30 extra a night while other hotels allow up to four to share a room at no extra charge. It pays to ask questions and find out the policy ahead of time so there are no surprises at check-in.

Be sure to mention any memberships you are a part of to see if they will get you any additional discounts. AAA, AARP, corporate rewards and frequent-flier programs may save you money on your reservation. You can also book a package through a tour operator like Funjet Vacations to get a discounted package that includes, flights, hotel, car rental or transfers. Some of the tour operators allow you to book hotel so you can take advantage of their bulk prices. Just make sure you read the fine print and understand the restrictions and terms and conditions.

Always ask where the rooms are located you are pricing. Are you being quoted prices in an older section of the hotel? Does the room have a view? Where is it located? Write down what you are being quoted so you can compare it to other prices you get.
