Las Vegas Show Guide

Las Vegas Show Ticket

It's showtime in Vegas! Now you just need to get your Las Vegas show ticket. There are a variey of big budget shows to entertain you these days and they are more creative, bigger and brighter than ever! But they can also come with big ticket prices. Advance reservations are a must as some shows sell out weeks in advance. Weekend shows are the hardest to get reservations and require you to book as soon as possible or you'll miss out.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority will send you a "Showguide" brochure with a list of shows and sporting events listed by date. The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce will send you a visitors packet about what to do and where to go. This will help you decide what you want to do and which shows you want to see.

Reservation agents are also available at most Las Vegas hotels to answer questions and to tell you what is going on during your stay. Always double check the content of the shows before making taking kids along.

Las Vegas Shows

You'll find that most showrooms in Vegas are now non-smoking and have pre-assigned seating. Most shows are in the larger hotels and some offer free self parking or valet parking if you prefer. You might want to enjoy your drinks before the show or have a nightcap afterward to save money. Most venues charge extra for drinks and the prices are high.

Show venues change periodically but there is always a variety of options available. You can enjoy the acrobats of Cirque du Soleil's KÀ, Barry Manilow, Bette Midler, Donnie & Marie and Blue Man Group. Some are limited time shows. At Mandalay Bay you can see the Broadway smash hit of Disney's The Lion King. If you want a true Vegas production show with showgirls and lavish costumes then Jubilee! at Bally’s fits the bill. For a classic magic show the Lance Burton Theatre at Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino is top pick.
