- The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay has more than 1,200 species of marine life including sharks, exotic fish, piranhas and a 300-pound sea turtle.
- Kids will love the Adventuredome at Circus Circus. Ride the high-speed roller coaster Canyon Blaster, play miniature golf, laser tag, ride the bumper cars or play games in the arcade. See the Circus acts every half-hour. Lots of fun and action for the whole family.
- Explore the Ethel M Chocolates Factory where you can sample gourmet treats and see chocolates being made. Located 15 minutes from the Strip.
- Spend the day at Lake Mead, the 16th largest man-made lake in the world. Enjoy everything from boating to swimming to hiking to wildlife viewing. Offers boat and jet ski rentals, beaches, restaurants, cafes, and snack bars.
- Red Rock Canyon located just 15 miles west of Las Vegas provides desert beauty, towering red cliffs and abundant wildlife. Go horseback riding and hiking where on some trails you can see waterfalls cascading into the canyon.

- Watch a dazzling computer generated Light and Sound show at the Fremont Street Experience.
- Hoover Dam is 35 miles from Las Vegas and attracts more than a million visitors a year. An observation deck above the dam provides panoramic views of the Colorado River and Lake Mead.
